Meet my two models: Abigail Lanier and her guide dog Alexa.
Abbey and I became friends from being on the same triathlon team at Achilles International's New York City chapter. Achilles is a non-profit organization that I volunteer with which enables people off all disabilities to compete in mainstream sporting events. Achilles meets in Central Park twice a week to push, pedal and pound the pavement all around the park. Abbey is a visually impaired athlete, and cancer survivor. I asked Abbey if she and Alexa would be part of my new collection which highlights different aspects of my life and she happily said "yes" and Lexi (her nickname) said "woof."
